1. This is not a really test. It is a short evaluation to see how much grammar everyone knows. Just do your best. If you don’t know an answer, it’s OK. You can skip it or guess.

6. Remember Irregular Verbs! (p. 293; back of handout)
7. Practice: Simple Tenses
1. Present & Past: Complete Exercises 2.1 & 5.2 (handout).
2. Future: Complete Excercises 20.2 & 21.1 (handout).

Homework:

1. Buy English Grammar in Use from the bookstore (at STAMP).
2. Complete the Student Information Sheet.
3. Complete p. 1, 2, & 4 of the Learning about Verb Tenses handout.
